Plastic components

With the integration of the subsidiary Kraus Kunststofftechnik into the group, Kraus succeeded in broadening the product portfolio with plastic-based components. Through augmenting its own manufacturing spectrum, we once again increased the control over our own products and therefore our quality standards and reliability. However Kraus Kunststofftechnik is not only manufacturing for internal purposes but also realises external orders as well.

With a focus on our core competence, we also produce plastic components for a variety of industries. The required tools therefore are manufactured in house. The focus lies on duroplast components made from BMC and SMC plastics, as well as all granulated moulding compounds.

We produce these in duroplast and thermoplast injection moulding processes as well as by duroplast pressing, both in large and small volumes.

Our range of plastic components and parts serves a variety of applications and comprises a product range from polyester casings to auxiliary switches and isolators for railway technology (isolators for bus bars) to isolating rings and brush holders.
